The Most South African Thing You Will See Today – What To Do At A Stop-And-Go [Video]

Experiencing and engaging in a stop-and-go is a South African privilege and right, and it appears that there's a general play-by-play of how one is expected to behave.

Experiencing and engaging in a stop-and-go is a South African privilege and right.

We’ve all been there from time to time, and it appears that there’s a general play-by-play of how one is expected to behave during such a scenario.

This footage below was taken at the stunning new stop-and-go just there by Graham Beck, on the way to Robertson in the Western Cape.

Note how our hero manages to complete every step with incredible perfection.

    1. Exit vehicle, preferably barefoot, and give the driver of the car behind a courteous greeting (nod).
    2. Take it all in over a ciggie.
    3. Loosen the cooler box, which should be secured in the back of the bakkie.
    4. Have a sip of any liquid.
    5. Remove a Tupperware with last night’s chops and consume one.
    6. Take a stroll over the road for added perspective and, most importantly, have a big stretch.

If the judges were handing out scores, it would be 10s all around.

Perfection:

Just a little something to brighten up your Wednesday, friends.

Also, please enjoy some comedy gold from a Stellies rugby match.
