Experiencing and engaging in a stop-and-go is a South African privilege and right.
We’ve all been there from time to time, and it appears that there’s a general play-by-play of how one is expected to behave during such a scenario.
This footage below was taken at the stunning new stop-and-go just there by Graham Beck, on the way to Robertson in the Western Cape.
Note how our hero manages to complete every step with incredible perfection.
-
- Exit vehicle, preferably barefoot, and give the driver of the car behind a courteous greeting (nod).
- Take it all in over a ciggie.
- Loosen the cooler box, which should be secured in the back of the bakkie.
- Have a sip of any liquid.
- Remove a Tupperware with last night’s chops and consume one.
- Take a stroll over the road for added perspective and, most importantly, have a big stretch.
If the judges were handing out scores, it would be 10s all around.
Perfection:
Just a little something to brighten up your Wednesday, friends.
Also, please enjoy some comedy gold from a Stellies rugby match.
