A Joburg woman filmed a brazen attack on motorists in Morningside, Sandton last week.
The video, which has been doing the rounds on social media, shows a group, suspected to be the infamous ‘Rolex Gang’ robbing the driver and a passenger of a white VW at gunpoint at a traffic light on Middle Road.
News24 reports that the assailants took a handbag and a Rolex watch, before jumping into another car and driving off.
Broad daylight – no bother:
I’m not convinced that it’s the Rolex gang, despite the theft of the watch, because they’re usually targeting bigger fish.
No arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation.
