There are some simple truths that we can all relate to.
First, all food tastes better when it’s free.
And second, the craving for pizza must always be satisfied.
Two women in the British north-east town of Sunderland decided to embrace both these truths and make them happen by committing fraud at The Peacock restaurant.
The women complained that they had found hair in their food, reports BBC. After complaining to management, the staff apologised and the women were given a £7 refund and free drinks.
Later, the staff realised that the hair on the pizza didn’t match anyone who worked there, so they checked the CCTV footage:
Yep, they’re putting their own hair on the pizza. Not a good look, and I’m not sure they’ll be welcomed back to The Peacock any time soon.
Lucky for us South Africans, Butler’s Pizzas is not only delicious, but also affordable, which means that you don’t need to commit fraud to get your hands on one.
Monday’s ‘Buy two, get one free’ deal will also satisfy any craving you might have for free food.
The rest of the deals aren’t too bad, either, so pick your day and get stuck in.
You can order online or give Butler’s a call to have a piping hot pizza delivered to your door.
Do it. You know you want to.
