If you had to sum up Donald Trump’s first State of the Union (SOTU) address, that image above is a pretty decent effort.

Republicans stood and applauded continuously – probably because they know the president will watch all the footage during his ‘Executive Time’ and take down the names of those who didn’t – and Democrats were largely unimpressed.

Even when they did clap, it didn’t always seem genuine, with Nancy Pelosi leading the charge. Yeah, she’s clearly adopted the ‘seal sarcastically claps’ method of showing her distaste:

Probably not going to mend relations between Donnie and Nancy.
