The last time we featured a leopard video, some lucky folks at the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve watched an early morning kill on their doorstep.
This leopard encounter, though, would have been less welcomed by those watching on, with the northern Indian city of Jalandhar under attack from the rampaging cat.
Six villagers were injured before the leopard was eventually caught and tranquilised.
It’s noteworthy that the leopard only attacked after it had been hit by two tranquillising darts, escaped a net, and jumped a wall, so it was clearly in fight or flight mode.
Eventually, a third dart brought the animal down, and it was taken to a nearby zoo in Chatbir for examination.
