Weddings are breeding grounds for drama, which is why people can go a little crazy trying to plan for every conceivable problem that might arise.

I’ve had friends who, despite only inviting people who were obviously happy to see them get married, still removed the “speak now, or forever hold your peace” part of the ceremony altogether – just in case…

But you know what they say – the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

W24 has uncovered a viral video that first surfaced back in 2016, that is now once again doing the rounds. The video shows a man at the altar, about to marry his bride, when the wedding is interrupted by another woman in a wedding dress.

And not just any woman – it’s the woman the groom’s been seeing on the side.

As I said, you can try and plan for every eventuality, but there was no way to plan for this.

Maybe he’ll think twice next time he gets the urge to sneak around.
