Kylie Jenner is one of those people who is paid for simply existing on social media and television platforms.
Why? Because for some reason, people actually follow her. Millions of people.
18,1 million people actually looked at and liked the picture that she posted of her daughter Stormi Webster in February 2018.
As an aside, naming your daughter Stormi in the same year as the Trump/ Stormy Daniels fiasco was…well it was a choice.
Anyway, the post became the most-liked post on Instagram:
Now, reports Mashable, the post has lost the top spot. The pic that stole its glory? This egg:
The egg has its own Instagram account, and it also has millions of followers. To be fair, the egg and Kylie Jenner have a lot in common. Both are famous for doing nothing.
The one exception is that the egg is actually useful.
At the time of writing, the egg picture has received well over 24 million likes. The creators of the account responded to their victory in an Instagram story with this:
“This is a madness. What a time to be alive,” the story read. “It doesn’t end here though, we’re only just getting started.”
We’ve reached out to the “egg gang,” as the record-beaters have called themselves for comment, but in the meantime, congratulations.
What a time indeed…
