That’s kind of ironic when you take into account the events that led to the newest doccie to hit our screens, FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.
GQ writes that it’s all about how Mr Rule and a sketchy guy called Billy McFarland bought an island, and convinced a bunch of rich people to pay a quarter of a million dollars for a ticket to a festival to watch Blink 182.
We covered some of the drama when the story broke in 2017, but this doccie is going to dig far deeper.
You just can’t make this stuff up:
The court cases and legal disputes are still ongoing, and Ja Rule claims to have known nothing about anything.
As pointed out in the trailer – if you spend a thousand dollars on a ticket to go and watch Blink 182, that’s on you.
