If you thought your wedding was lush, I’m here to tell you that you’ve been out-weddinged.

Flight traffic increased four-fold as high profile guests arrived in chartered jets in India for the wedding of the year.

The next day, guests attended the wedding pre-party where they were treated to a private concert by Beyoncé.

Yep, Beyoncé. You know you’ve got cash when Beyoncé does a concert at your wedding – just because.

The union of  Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will bring together the business empires of two of India’s wealthiest, most influential families.

Ambani’s father, Mukesh Ambani, is the 19th richest man in the world, with a net worth of $43,4 billion, reports The Washington Post.

So their kids won’t be attending public school then…

The bride and groom have been friends since childhood, and won’t officially wed until Wednesday. But celebrations kicked off over the weekend at Udaipur’s City Palace, a grand 16th-century complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Here’s CNN:

The guest list included advertising tycoon Martin Sorrell, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and the businesswoman and author Arianna Huffington. Hillary Clinton, a long-time friend of the Ambani family, was also in attendance.

Guests were able download a custom app to help stay abreast of the schedule, which is expected to include feasts, rituals and entertainment events. Chief among these was the “sangeet,” a night of music and dance traditionally hosted by the bride’s family. Descending on the exclusive Oberoi Udaivilas Hotel on Saturday night, a star-studded crowd witnessed performances from various musicians and Bollywood icons.

Ambani currently sits on the boards of two of her father’s companies. Her soon to be husband also comes from a pretty powerful family and serves as the executive director of Piramal Group, a sprawling conglomerate with business interests spanning healthcare, manufacturing and real estate.

The over-the-top celebrations are being referred to as “the big, fat Indian wedding” and have dominated the headlines in a country where millions of people live in poverty.

Before Beyoncé stole the show, eyes were on Clinton and another former secretary of state, John F. Kerry — both of whom danced the bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance, onstage with the Ambani family, according to India Today.

Following the weekend’s festivities, guests will head to Mumbai for the wedding, which is scheduled to take place at Antilia, the Ambani family home boasting a staff of 600 people and six floors of parking.
