Trump’s Lawyer Accidentally Dropped Link Into Tweet And Somebody Pounced [Images]

Rudy Giuliani has become a laughing stock these days, and one of his recent tweets resulted in plenty of chuckles for those who dislike his boss.

Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former lawyer, is busy singing for his freedom to Robert Mueller and those involved with the Russia investigation.

His current lawyer, the once respected Rudy Giuliani, is also singing for his supper, debasing himself in defence of the president, as every White House employee is required to do these days.

Legal eagles agree that Mueller’s investigation looks to be entering the final phase, and on social media, panic has well and truly set in.

Trump himself tweets constantly about the ‘Witch Hunt’, and Giuliani plays ball with tweets of his own.

Take for example this from a few days back:

Rudy’s talking about the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires, but his typo accidentally led to a hyperlink appearing in the tweet.

As TIME reports, someone was waiting to pounce:

As is wont to happen on the Internet, some internet savvy person saw the creation of this link and a golden opportunity to troll Giuliani and the Trump administration. The URL was purchased and then used to send a single message about how they felt about the president, reading: “Donald J. Trump is a traitor to our country.”

You can click that link in the tweet up top yourself, but here’s a screenshot of what greets you at g-20.in:

Simple and to the point – well played.

Also, did you guys see Trump wander off stage like a lost fart during the summit, leaving Argentinian president Mauricio Macri dumbfounded?

Trump was supposed to hang around to be joined by other world leaders for the ‘family photograph’, but decided to hotfoot it instead.

Pay attention to just after the 14-second mark and you can actually hear the petulant toddler say “get me out of here”.

Must be tough when you know every single other world leader knows you’re a complete imbecile:

Awkward.
