Some days, we all want to throw in the towel and go live somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
Given that this past weekend was a very festive one, and I have little to no desire to interact with other humans, the idea of living somewhere close to McGregor sounds pretty appealing right about now.
If you’re feeling that vibe, maybe you want to check out this R1,95 million, 120-hectare farm for sale on Greeff, which promises some peace and quiet.
Here’s the write-up:
Beautiful veld farm not far from the village of McGregor, the property offers a secluded and sheltered little kloof to build your getaway house. The views are totally uninterrupted and quite breathtaking.
There are no power lines to obstruct your view, only rolling hills and changing colors as the hours go by. The veld is in excellent condition and there is an existing road taking you up to the site. There is also a borehole that is not equipped.
The property offers many different hills and koppies to investigate and is tucked away from any commercial farming activity, yet well positioned between Robertson and McGregor. This is a nature farm and not suitable for agricultural activity.
No power lines, hey? Now that’s serenity.
Pretty sure you can grow some veggies in the back garden, and spend your days staring wistfully into the distance and musing about how those city folk are suffering through the rat race.
Build a spare room and I’m there.
