Party season is upon us, and you’re going to be confronted with a smorgasbord of events to choose from over the next two months.
With so much to do, it’s tough to sort the mediocre from the mind-blowing.
Turns out there’s a simple way to make sure that the party you’re at is the one that everyone who’s anyone is at – just follow the sun.
The ‘Sol’ in Sol Beer means ‘sun’, and the sun is the brand ambassador for the authentic Mexican beer.
Sol is also sponsoring some epic parties counting down to the end of the year, so let’s take a look at what’s coming up in Cape Town and Jozi over the next while:
The first thing you’ll want to do is follow Sol Beer on Facebook and Twitter, because they are constantly running competitions and ticket giveaways.
Yeah, start there.
The best thing about the above parties is that they’re kind of like mini-festivals. You get to party outside, enjoy day-drinking, and listen to amazing music without having to travel for hours to get there.
If you’ve never been to a Sol party before, here’s a look back at their last bash – Festival de Mexico at Montecasino in Jozi on November 3:
The peeps in Jozi celebrated Halloween in style, and in the sun, at Festival De Mexico. Looks like there was plenty of the ‘espíritu libre’ (the spirit of freedom) going around:
There were 24 different food vendors, bull riding, a piñata and of course a healthy dose of Sol.
The event took advantage of the beautiful outdoor area at Montecasino, where people lounged on the grass, or got down to top live acts like Rubber Duc, Timo ODV, Charlie Finch and Apple Gule.
I think it’s safe to say a good time was had all around.
To make sure you don’t miss out on their next party, follow Sol Beer on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest updates on where the jol is happening, and you could also get lucky by winning one of their ticket giveaways or competitions.
Party hard, party safe, and party in the sun.
