If you’re going to crash a car, you’d better make sure it’s your car.
That was the lesson that a carwash attendant in Namibia learned the hard way when he lost control of a vehicle that he wasn’t supposed to be driving, smashing into two cars and a wall.
Not his best work, but he has some decent competition coming in from Jozi.
The car in this particular story is a BMW i8. For those of you who don’t know, this fancy little car retails at around R2,1 million.
It’s almost painful to watch such a gem get wrecked, but here we are anyway:
The car was being driven by a woman, and some on social media who shared the video said she was the housekeeper.
According to the Citizen, the car belongs to Avis Car Rental in Kempton Park, although they wouldn’t share further details on whether the woman behind the wheel was the one who rented the car.
Here’s what a BMW i8 looks like out the box:
And here’s what one looks like after an accidental high-speed reverse:
Hurts, doesn’t it?
