Although nothing will ever ease the pain and suffering of Willem Cornelius, who says his family died when Hannah died, at least the men responsible for her murder will spend the rest of their lives in prison.
When the judge announced that Vernon Witbooi, Geraldo Parsons and Eben van Niekerk had been given life sentences for murder and rape, amongst other charges, the courtroom erupted in cheers, and the men were berated by the gallery as they were led in handcuffs from the courtroom.
As you can see from this vide, emotions were running high:

One finds it hard to believe that such cold-hearted killers could ever be rehabilitated, and hopefully the public will never have to find out.
