We really shouldn’t be surprised by videos like these any longer, but there’s something about watching such a disregard for human life that I will never get used to.

Police in the Free State are now searching for two men who killed a man inside his car at a shopping centre parking lot in Welkom.

They say they are following every lead but, as of yet, no arrests have been made. The deceased, 54-year-old Shai Mikia Mohapi, was shot at the Commando shopping centre at around 5:30PM.

Mohapi was shot three times in the chest and twice in his left arm, and was declared dead at the scene. His car was then found abandoned outside a restaurant in the area.

That’s how little regard some people have for the lives of others.
