City Bowl living isn’t for everyone, but if you are a fan, then Oranjezicht is one of those areas that ticks a lot of boxes.
We did a little looking around on all of the usual culprits – Property24, Seeff, Private Property and a few others – and this was the most expensive listing we could find for Oranjezicht.
Yes, more than the R29,75 million mansion we covered earlier this year.
This time around we’re talking R48,5 million, listed on Property24, which gets you a five-bedroom, five-bathroom “timeless masterpiece”.
More info:
Live beautifully in this fully appointed classical home that’s picture perfect for stylish and gracious living. Filled with generous living spaces, this well planned , understated layout is designed for an easy life – style with attention to detail.
From sunlight pouring in from the morning east light, perfect north light and embracing the afternoon west light plus, sensational views with Lions head, Signal View & Table Mountain framed in carefully positioned windows.
We break briefly so I can comment on how rad this room above is. Back to the write-up:
From the time you enter the tranquil cobbled courtyard with the soothing water feature, you will be swept off your feet.
The beautiful entrance hall, cozy TV room, open plan lounge, kitchen and sumptuous dining area with great volume and incredible features lead onto a large covered entertainment patio with beautiful views & vistas.
The study ain’t bad, either:
I could work in that nook.
Sadly, the work I do isn’t the type that would make buying a R48,5 million house a possibility.
Still, it’s nice to dream.
