If you’re past the age of 25, then you’re probably a fan of brunch.
Listen, it happens gradually, but mostly I think it has to do with the fact that the weekends are the only chance you get to sleep in. Remember that, students who think attending the odd lecture is tough.
A late brunch is a perfect way to enjoy the day, some good company, and great food at a respectable hour, whilst still making the most of that lie-in.
By respectable I mean late enough for guilt-free mimosas, but early enough to justify breakfast foods. It’s a win-win.
This PSA goes out to all the brunchers – Cafe Caprice in Camps Bay is hosting their famous Coast to Coast Brunch Series, starting with the Back to Cape Town edition on November 17.
This event is sponsored by Absolut Vodka and Happy Socks, which means that you can replace the mimosas with vodka specials.
So that’s brunch, beautiful views and vodka specials. In case you need any more convincing, take a look at some of the pictures from last year’s Festival of the Sun brunch:
Tequilas with brunch – hell yeah, now we’re living.
Looks like a vibe, right? Here’s how you can get a piece of the action, and a piece of that super gourmet avo on toast:
Tickets are R250 per person and include shared starters for the table, one of five delicious main course options, and a welcome cocktail.
There are also a few Absolut specials to choose from, available throughout the day, as well as DJs on the decks from midday to keep the party going.
Get in touch with Cafe Caprice to book a table by emailing marketing@cafecaprice.co.za or calling 021 438 8315, and you can keep up to speed with all the latest from the Coast to Coast brunch on November 17 here.
