Looking for a catchy beat, that at the same time reminds you of just how much kak SARS is in?
Well, look no further, because there’s now a dance track that features everyone’s favourite IT Chief, Mmamathe Makhekhe-Mokhuane.
In case you missed last week’s doubleheader, you should know that Makhekhe-Mokhuane first appeared on SABC News, which did not go well.
She then appeared in front of the Nugent Commission later in the day, and it’s safe to say that that interview didn’t go at all well, either.
Makhekhe-Mokhuane has since apologised for her conduct, saying “she may have given an impression of arrogance, nonchalance and unprofessionalism”.
That she did. Thanks for the apology, but the internet is an unforgiving place.
Enter Daaf Vapor and the aptly named ‘Can you give me protection from yourself?’, covered on GoodThingsGuy, which features some of Makhekhe-Mokhuane’s most memorable lines.
Take it away:
A decent effort, but I feel the track should also have featured some of the waffle about the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir from the second interview.
If I’m forced to choose one dance track for the year, I’m still going with My Bok Boks.
BONUS: There’s also a video parody, which looks like it took quite a bit of work. It’s worth a watch:
