Ever wondered about the inner workings of a drug cartel?
Narcos brought you everything that you could ever want out of a crime drama about narcotics. The first three seasons were set in Colombia and based on the story of infamous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, who became a billionaire many times over through the production and distribution of cocaine.
Season three picked up after the fall of Escobar, and documented the rise of the Cali Cartel.
Now, reports The Verge, Narcos is back, and this time it’s set in Mexico.
Here’s our first real look at Narcos’ revamped new season / spinoff series, which moves the show to Mexico for what looks like a much bigger and wilder ride. The show is supposed to be about the birth of Mexico’s drug war, focused on the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel. Michael Peña and Diego Luna star.
Looks like it’s going to be a riot. See for yourself:
Narcos returns to Netflix on November 16.
