Hitchhikers are generally pretty happy when they grab a ride with somebody who isn’t a serial killer.

It’s an added bonus when the car that picks you up from the side of the road has a Hollywood celebrity in the back seat, and it’s an even bigger bonus when you switch from a car ride to a helicopter ride and arrive at your destination in style.

As you can imagine, musician Scott Hildebrand is happy with how his hitchhiking journey went down, and the whole event was documented by Chris Hemsworth on his Instagram account.

Hemsworth and his friend Luke Zocchi spotted the musician who had just touched down in Brisbane and was after a ride.

Scott spoke to E! News afterwards:

“The experience was so cool and unexpected,” he said. “They’re so nice and I couldn’t believe it was happening.”

That Hemsworth family looks like a decent bunch.
