I guess all good things must come to an end.
Seth can’t go into too much detail here, but these two houses – ‘Aquarius’ and ‘Villa Del Sole’ were the venues for non-stop parties throughout the day and night during the Noughties.
He does recall one morning at around 7AM, when he jogged past and saw a friend’s car parked outside. He called the friend, who beckoned him inside.
Once he entered the house, he saw people engrossed in rapid-fire conversation as the sun rose, still wearing their clothes from the night before, whilst others seemed to be ambling around in a zombie-like state.
Those were the Noughties, right?
Now, for a cool R89,9 million, you can own both of these fabled properties, in what Seeff Properties calls “a once in a lifetime opportunity”.
The write-up is sparse:
[You can] acquire approximately 1 566sqm of prime residential land in Bantry Bay with 2 existing homes. Ideal location to build on the water’s edge of Cape Town’s magnificent coastline and a chance to create a unique experience that will exceed your expectations.
We’ll get to the images from the listing in a second, but in case your memory needs jogging, here’s what some snooping on Google Maps will get you.
First, there’s the entrance to ‘Aquarius’:
And then ‘Villa Sole’:
A little double-header:

We’ll go inside ‘Aquarius’, the left-hand property above, first:
Let’s pop next door for a look at ‘Villa Del Sole’:
Good to have stylish interiors, but you’re going to be spending most of your time staring off over the ocean.
Or hosting wild parties – I mean, you pay the R89,9 million, you get to make those calls.
