Earlier this week, we wrote about the jarring New York Times article, outlining just how out of control the political assassinations in this country have become.
The most affected province is KwaZulu-Natal, with 80 ANC officials having been killed between 2011 and 2017 alone.
Given that climate of fear, it’s no surprise that many politicians feel like they’re walking around with targets on their back, and none more so than this guy, heading into a tender meeting at Endumeni Municipality in Dundee.
It’s no secret that securing tenders has become a lucrative way to make money, and many are secured without going through the proper channels, which opens the process up to all kinds of shenanigans.
How about being so fearful that somebody is going to off you to secure a tender, that you arrive with armed guards in tow?

Yeah, that is ridiculous. Side note – I hope that car parked in the disabled bay is there legally.
Whilst some peeps found the video funny, others were less amused:
Oh well, at least the man in the video didn’t have toilet paper stuck to his foot.
