Given that we often feature criminals getting away with their ill deeds (most recently, that 30-second armed robbery), it’s good to break it up with the odd failed attempt.
It seems like more and more South Africans are fighting back, physically at times, whilst others are taking precautionary measures in advance.
The driver of this BMW in Jozi is clearly one of those, as this CCTV footage of a failed smash-and-grab in Morningside on Wednesday night shows.
Pulling up to a gated complex just before 6:30PM, the driver will be thankful for those seemingly impenetrable windows:
A bona fide flop.
The story was shared on Facebook by Intelligence Burea SA, and users were quick to crack a joke or two:
The smash-and-grab game isn’t really tailor-made for heftier criminals, is it?
