Five Crazy Moments From Trump’s Latest Press Conference [Videos]

Donald Trump doesn't do too many actual press conferences, and there's a reason for that. Yesterday he spoke for more than an hour, and things got weird.

Donald Trump doesn’t do too many actual press conferences, and there’s a reason for that.

He usually relies on Twitter to spread his nonsense, or blurts out something idiotic on his way to board a plane or chopper.

Last night somebody in his inner circle decided that it would be a good idea for him to face the media, and now here we are.

Fresh off being laughed at by the entire United Nations General Assembly, Trump spoke for over an hour, and faced questions on everything from his trade war with China to the sexual assault charges against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

It was a wild ride, and Mashable has picked out five moments that stand out from the crowd:

First up, George Washington – he had some sex stuff in his past, didn’t he?

It’s almost like Trump can’t believe that a powerful man doesn’t have a few sexual assaults tucked up his sleeve.

Next – Donald clearly can’t count, because there are at least 16 women who have accused him of sexual assault. At least.

Wow, stirring words.

So, about that UN laughter:

He really doesn’t get it.

This is a real gem – the failing New York Times reporter being coaxed to thank the president:

Obsessed with his media coverage.

The final video is my favourite of the bunch – how about a fake Elton John quote? Tick.

Can somebody please take Gramps back to his room, he’s rambling.

You’ve probably guessed this already, but there is no record of Elton having said this. Also, Elton loves an encore.

There were more ‘WTF is happening’ moments, too. I’ll just drop this here and be on my way:
