Sorry for bringing up Adam Catzavelos again, but a new video doing the rounds is drawing some interesting comparisons.
It features a seemingly unhinged ex-convict, Kessie Nair, who chose to post a racist rant to Facebook.
Much like Adam’s antics, it has backfired, and a case of crimen injuria (hat tip to Vicki Momberg) has now been laid against him.
These details via IOL:
In the almost five-minute long video, Nair demands that Ramaphosa be charged for failing the nation.
“I Kessie Nair do hereby call for that (k-word) state president, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, be charged for (de)frauding this nation, for oppressing this nation, for high treason,” he said.
Nair said he is prepared to go to jail for his comments.
He may get his wish, because the crimen injuria case has been opened at the Bayview Police Station by community activist and former eThekwini councillor Brandon Pillay.
He added that he would also be lodging a complaint with the South African Human Rights Commission.
That ex-convict tag stems from 2005, when Nair was jailed for six years for fraud amounting to R17 500.
Part of the video has made its way onto Twitter, so buckle up, because it’s not pretty:
Here is video of Durban Indian businessman #KessieNair calling president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa a kaffir, about time people get jailed for being racist

What a complete and utter moron.
Sadly, Nair’s outburst plays right into the hands of Julius Malema, who recently accused “the majority” of Indian South Africans of being racist.
He’s already been all over it, too, retweeting this:
Oh, and the guy’s Facebook page is a mess:
Sounds like your annoying mate who won’t shut up about yesterday’s dagga ConCourt ruling.
I wonder if we’ll get some #KessieNairChallenge videos out of this, like we did from people taking the piss out of Adam.
