Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which of the Trump children is more embarrassing.
Ivanka is daddy’s little girl (to a creepy degree), and is complicit in all of his horrible deeds, but it was the immigrant families being torn apart and her indifference that really turned the tide against her.
Then there are Don Jr. and Eric, who are constantly locked in a battle to claim the title of ‘most embarrassing first son’.
Spoiler alert – it’s not really a battle, because Don Jr. is streaks ahead.
We’ve covered his tumultuous relationship with his father before, and how he will now do anything for his approval, but it’s his behaviour on social media that is top of the cringe pops.
I could insert any one of hundreds of Instagram posts or tweets here, but let’s go with this one. Don Jr. was 39 when he shared this last year:

Yes, the apple and the tree are in remarkable proximity to one another.
One more Instagram? OK, how about this post regarding the accusations of rape against Supreme Court judge nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Again, a woman is accusing a man of rape, and this is what Don Jr. shares:
Apple and tree, both planted neck-deep in manure.
Shall we get to Don Jr. taking a potshot at Anderson Cooper? It starts with this tweet:
Look at Anderson, then look at the cameraman, and it sure appears like he’s exaggerating the depth of the water.
Kinda like this reporter in the midst of Hurrican Florence, with some bros casually strolling past in the background.
Now given that Don Jr. is constantly tweeting garbage about anyone who criticises his father, and that engaging with him is like banging your head against a wall (that Mexico is going to pay for, believe me!), most of his jibes go without reply.
Anderson had clearly had enough, though, because he decided to school wee Donald on air over at CNN.
Settle in:
In response to the public spanking, Don Jr. chose to retweet this chump, Andrew Surabian, who is an advisor to Donald Trump Jr., and clearly inept at his job:
Which would make a lot more sense if it wasn’t for another of Don Jr.’s Instagram posts:
Sure, he posted this at the exact time that Hurricane Florence was going on, even though it’s been 10 years since that picture was taken, and wasn’t implying that the two are related.
Don Jr., take another ‘L’ and get back to swimming in the swamp.
