If YouTube is anything to go by, people go all out on wedding proposals.

Unfortunately for everyone planning a filmed proposal for the next few weeks, the bar has been set pretty high by director Glenn Weiss.

Weiss won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special for The Oscars, but that came in second to what he did next.

Never mind going viral (which it has), because his proposal stole the entire show at the 2018 Emmy Awards.

But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself:

I won’t lie, that was a baller move. What if he hadn’t won? Does that mean the proposal would have been postponed? Then, and this is a big one – what if she had said no? Public humiliation viewed by millions of people all over the world.

To be fair, that would have gone viral, too. Still, this guy must be really really sure of himself. Harness that confidence and you could rule the world.
