Serena Cartoon Paper Outlines Why They Think She Is Not A Feminist Hero [Video]

Apparently, we haven't yet moved on from the Serena Williams discussion. Here's the Herald Sun with more to say on the matter.

What do you do when the world is watching you dig a hole deeper and deeper?

You keep digging, apparently.

In case you’re unsure of the Serena Williams versus the Herald Sun showdown, it started with the Herald Sun publishing a racist cartoon by Mark Knight.

The backlash soon followed, but rather than take the criticism on board, the paper soon doubled down on their front page.

Hey Australia, if you’re wondering why the rest of the world thinks you have a serious racism problem…

Anyway, around the same time the paper was doubling down and defending Knight, Andrew Bolt delivered this message.

Published on the Herald Sun’s website with the headline “Why Serena Williams is no feminist hero”, I guess we’re going to hear what Bolt has to say.

It comes with this write-up:

Serena Williams claims to be a victim of sexism after her amazing tantrum at the US Open women’s final. Others claim she’s a victim of racism. Let me show you the clips that expose this fraud – and show why identity politics is the refuge of scoundrels. My editorial from The Bolt Report.

Yes, the tennis superstar who has inspired millions of people, especially young, black women, is a fraud.

Serena didn’t cover herself in glory with her behaviour, clearly, but I’m really not sure old white Ozzie men should be considered authorities on racism and sexism.

Here’s something more upbeat to end on – US Open champion Naomi Osaka on Ellen, where she was the undisputed star of the show:
