It’s become pretty popular to raise funds by stripping down to the bare essentials for a calendar these days, and the latest one features players from Cambridge University’s netball, swimming, lacrosse and football teams, amongst others.
All proceeds from the calendar, which is available for £10, is to be split between four selected charities, but you don’t really care about that.
You’re here to see people in various stages of undress, and that’s what the Daily Mail thrives on.
Let’s get down to business.
Members of the netball team posing in the dining hall at Corpus Christi College
Members of the lacrosse team dared to bare all in the Pembroke College library, using strategically-placed props to preserve their modesty
Members of the university’s swimming team posed in front of the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences as part of the daring photoshoot
Students from a range of sports teams got involved in the naked calendar shoot, including American football players who posed on a punt in front of the Bridge of Sighs
The university’s volleyball team decided to pose nude in one of the greenhouses at the city’s Botanical Gardens
The skiing team posed in the debating chamber
No word on whether they channelled their inner Beatle and had a mass debate afterwards.
In case you’re bothered, here’s what photographer Kevin Low had to say:
‘It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the most challenging and fulfilling photography project that I’ve ever worked on,’ he said.
‘Many people think that you have to give money to contribute to charity but I think getting off your bum, stripping off and posing for photos is a great way as well.’
Stunning.
