David Blaine is still around and doing his thing (he popped past Trevor Noah’s Daily Show in May), but his fame peaked in the early 2000s.
The first magician to be known for taking his tricks to the streets, half the fun of watching David in action came from seeing people react to his sorcery.
I still have no idea how in the hell he manages to throw cards through glass and put cards in the middle of basketballs, but maybe knowing would ruin the fun.
Anyway, it’s Thursday, we’re throwing back, and if we all stick together the end of this week from hell will finally arrive.
