Who needs an excuse to mix some tasty drinks this Saturday?
Most of us associate High Tea with tasty treats and tea and coffee, and there’s plenty of that, but over in the V&A Waterfront there’s something a little different going on.
This Saturday, between 3PM and 6PM, Ginja are hosting a Gin High Tea. Think along the lines of the ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ (that’s an Alice in Wonderland reference), with a buffet of sweet and savoury treats to choose from, plus filter coffee and a wide selection of Dilmah teas.
The twist, which we are pretty fond of, takes place over at the Gin Table. Featuring the finest offerings from Cape Town Gin, here you can build your own handcrafted, gin-based cocktail using different ingredients.
Have fun with the different garnishes, fruits, herbs and flavours when piecing together your own, unique gin creation.
How good does this look?
You’ll get to choose from the three Cape Town Gin offerings – the Classic, Rooibos Red, and the Pink Lady – with Fitch & Leedes on hand with their bespoke mixers to add further class to the occasion.
It’s all very sophisticated, but that’s cool, because you deserve the best.
What’s more, you get to spend the day in one of Cape Town’s crown jewels, the V&A Waterfront, right on the Pierhead close to Noble Square.
Keep it classy from 3PM until 6PM, and then let the tiger out of the cage when the sun goes down – perfection.
