There are certain things that people will never agree on. Should you put the milk in first, or the cereal first? Milk first, or hot water and tea first? Toilet seat up, or toilet seat down?
We’re not here to spark controversy on any of those fronts (although we have already settled the tea debate), so let’s rather talk about something that everybody understands – how to eat everyone’s favourite cookie.
Twist, Lick, Dunk – we’re talking about Oreos, of course. Who could forget that kid telling his canine friend that “mom says chocolate isn’t good for dogs, but you can have the rest of my milk”?
Some important life lessons right there.
Oreo is calling on South Africans to ‘Twist, Lick, Dunk’ and share an Oreo with other #OreoPeople. During August and September, the iconic biscuit will be creating moments of sharing at mall pop-up stands around South Africa.
This weekend, August 25 and 26, you can find an Oreo stand at Canal Walk between 9AM and 5PM. Here, Oreo will be creating wonderfilled moments of sharing – both by connecting people in a playful way, and letting them share in an experience with those around them that will unlock instant prizes.
You read right – instant prizes. Best you get down there to figure out if you’re a “Twist” person, “Dunk” person, or “Lick” person, and stand the chance to win a range of fantastic prizes.
Furthermore, until September 30, fans can also stand a chance to WIN one of three amazing prizes worth R75 000 each. Whether you want to shop till you drop, go on an exciting getaway or gain VIP access to the most exciting events, Oreo has it all.
For a chance to win one of these amazing prizes, fans must purchase any two of the participating Oreo products, and SMS the last five digits of their barcode to 120*766#.
[SMS rates and Ts & Cs apply, which you can read here.]
If you’re not in Cape Town this weekend, you can still find upcoming Oreo activations from 9AM to 5PM at the following venues:
Here’s Thandi Ntuli, Mondelez SA Category Lead for Biscuits:
Oreo has always been a brand that encourages and inspires people to let out their playful sides and connect with people around them. This campaign is no different, and we hope that our fans will connect with one another no matter their differences.
Get together, eat some tasty biscuits, win prizes – not exactly a bad deal, is it?
