He may have slipped off the radar for a while, but Sacha Baron Cohen is back with a bang.
His new show, Who is America?, managed to garner much hype ahead of its airing, and ever since then things have just spiralled.
It seemed like it would be tough to top the first episode, which featured American politicians talking about arming toddlers with guns, but then along came Georgia state representative Jason Spencer.
Now former Georgia state representative, because after his delusional performance aired, Spencer was shown the door.
Be sure to watch the highlights of that episode, if you haven’t yet.
This time around Cohen, playing ex-convict character Rick Sherman, is trolling again. VICE with a quick summary:
In the segment, Sherman invites dinnerreviews.com editor Bill Jilla over for a three-course meal inspired by his time in lock-up. It started out pretty simply, with a “beans-and-toast medley” appetizer plate, before transitioning into more, uh, creative territory.
Grub’s up:
If ever you wanted proof that people will do just about anything you say when they have a camera pointed at them, here it is.
By the way, dinnerreviews.com has been taken down since the episode aired, and Bill has suddenly become very hard to find.
