Shaun of The Dead is arguably one of the best comedy-horror films ever made. It wasn’t over the top, while still being silly enough to be funny, well-acted enough to be enjoyable, well written and plot driven.
Who can forget the amazing power of vinal against the zombie hordes?
Now Shaun of the Dead creators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have started their own production company called Stolen Picture, and the first film to be released is Slaughterhouse Rulez, starring Pegg and Frost and directed by Crispian Mills.
Here’s Fansided with more details:
It seems like your standard “trying to survive school among all of the exaggerated cliques and the main character is at the bottom” type of movie, but at this school, there’s considerably more mangling, dismemberment and buckets ‘o’ blood involved.
It would seem fracking done by wild, mountain man-looking Frost nearby the Slaughterhouse Boarding School has unleashed some monsters from deep underground and surviving school takes on a whole new meaning.
Alright, we’ll give the trailer a watch:
A cautionary tale about posh schools and fracking, with some classic humour thrown in? Sounds good to me.
