You wanna know what happens when you’re surrounded by people who don’t say no to you? You appear on Idols SA and think you stand a chance, and the judges (and TV audience) are left to wonder why.

There’s quite a bit to unpack in this clip below, including the relationship between the 23-year-old singer and her, um, friend and mentor.

I’m not the only one wondering what’s cracking – host ProVerb is clearly thinking something smells a bit fishy.

Far be it from us to judge, of course, because maybe he’s mentored many young talents on their way to greatness.
