Meghan’s dad is in the news again, and the latest is that their relationship might be officially over…for now.
Despite this, Meghan seems to be settling into her new life just fine, despite not being allowed to wear a tux.
Since his daughter became royalty, Thomas Markle [with Meghan in the image below] has become besties with the paparazzi. And they love him back, which is not surprising considering what he’s been up to.
So far he’s faked a heart surgery and told the world that Meghan is terrified of the royals. Now he’s trying his hand at hardcore manipulation, saying that the late Princess Di would have been disappointed with how this is all playing out.
He also said Meghan would be better off if he was dead.
She probably would be, but that’s beside the point.
The Daily Mail says:
‘A reconciliation is completely off the table at the moment,’ the close friend said. ‘There’s no chance right now – he’s been a complete embarrassment.
‘They’ve had problems for some time – from before she met Prince Harry.’
The source added: ‘She’s amazed by what’s happened but is taking what he says with a grain of salt.
‘The Royal Family isn’t as upset as you’d think either. Nothing any of them [the Markle family] say has any real consequence and they [Meghan and Harry] have more important things to focus on.’
TBH I don’t really care either.
But someone must give a damn, because the tabloids can’t get enough of this guy. And now the palace aides are holding crisis meetings to deal with Toms out of control behaviour:
Palace sources claim the royal family’s patience has ‘snapped’ over his public outbursts, while one commentator has suggested the Queen may be forced to intervene to prevent further damage.
The Duchess of Sussex’s father has repeatedly complained about being ‘cut off’ by his daughter in media interviews with insiders saying she is at her ‘wits’ end’.
And one insider told the Mirror that Meghan is ‘deeply hurt’ by what is becoming an ‘increasingly desperate situation’.
After the way she dealt with Trump, I wouldn’t want to go up against HRH Liz in a battle royale.
