If for some reason the thought of putting your arm inside a crocodile’s mouth ever entered your mind, here’s a good reason why you shouldn’t try.

This unlucky chap who got caught in a croc’s trap was actually a crocodile handler himself, so all the more reason for us non-experts to steer clear.

The 45-year-old handler, known as Tao, was caught on video risking life and limb to perform this stunt at the Phokkathara Zoo in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, on Sunday.

Well, this definitely puts that Instagram model being nipped by a shark to some shame.

Khun Phusawit, who captured the footage as it happened, told The Daily Mail:

The show was very good until that happened. I hope that the man is okay and he gets better soon. Everybody was shocked when it happened. The kids were a little bit scared.

I’ve watched the clip back many times to see how it happened and the crocodile seems to not like having the hand in his mouth.

No shit. I’d be livid if someone stuck their arm in my gullet, too.

As for Tao, he’s reportedly “fine” after being treated for his bite, and will apparently be back on the job in the next two weeks.

Brave soul. Beyond stupid, but brave.

Just don’t go sticking your arm in places where they don’t belong, pal.
