Jirre, Sir Paul McCartney is really giving us all the feels this year.
First, the Beatles legend teamed up with James Corden last month to sing us a tear-inducing rendition of “Let It Be”.
Now he’s given fans a treat to remember after he was spotted strutting his stuff on the world-famous Abbey Road in London on Monday, July 23.
McCartney was in town to play a secret gig at Abbey Road Studios, where the likes of Johnny Depp (minus his Fantastic Beasts cosplay) and Kylie Minogue came out to watch him.
Before he stepped inside, he decided to walk across the most recognisable zebra crossing on the planet:
ETOnline has got the scoop:
[McCartney] treated the mass of fans gathered to a recreation of The Beatles’ famous cover – which shows McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and John Lennon strolling in a straight line across the road – from their 1969 album, which was named after the famous street.
In case y’all forget what the cover looks like, here’s a pic to refresh your memory:
Lovely.
And now, behold the icon that is as Paul McCartney doing the damn thing:
Need to see that again? Here’s another angle:
You’ve still got it, Paul, you’ve still got it.
John and George would be proud of ya. Or at least tease you for that twirl.
