This Canadian heist gone wrong is so oddly entertaining that you have to wonder if maybe you haven’t wandered onto a slapstick film set by mistake.
That’s what these customers probably thought to themselves when they saw this failed escape go down in a convenience store in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada.
Per a GQ report, security footage from the King Street Reddi Mart shows a security guard confronting a dodgy-looking couple who were allegedly using stolen credit cards.
That’s when the man decided to nope out of the situation in a very unsubtle way, and it all went downhill from there.

Credit where it’s due for that ‘straight back on your feet’ mentality, but professionals, this duo was not.
The fact that “Way Out There” by Carter Burwell is playing in the background makes their attempt to haul ass even more entertaining, don’t you think?
Oh well, at least they tried their best. A+ for effort.
