At last, Taylor Swift can breathe a little more easily.
That’s because the “Shake It Off” singer has been rewarded with a five-year restraining order against the knife-wielding stalker who broke into her Beverley Hills home back in April.
As if wielding a knife wasn’t scary enough, Julius Sandrock, 38, was also in possession of a rope and live ammunition. Prescription drugs, including oxycodone, were found in his car.
Seriously, this guy was not playing around.
Sandrock appeared at a hearing on Wednesday, June 27 when the judge handed down the restraining order. More from IOL:
A judge has handed [Swift] a five-year restraining order to keep [Sandrock, pictured below] at least 100 yards away from her at all times.
[Sandrock] had previously been ordered to stay 500 yards away from Taylor in a temporary restraining order that was filed earlier this year, but on Wednesday a more permanent document was put in place.
The news comes just one month after another of the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer’s alleged stalkers was sentenced to six months in jail.
Mohammed Jaffar was arrested for burglary, stalking and trespassing after he entered her New York apartment building in March 2017, and in May this year, faced a sentence of half a year in prison.
Sjoe. Even if you’re not a fan of Tay-Tay, you still gotta feel for her.
If you ever needed a reason for why fame isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, this is definitely it.
