It was supposed to be a peaceful, hassle-free public hearing between mature individuals.
Then again, considering that one of those individuals was Julius Malema, it was never going to be without controversy.
The EFF commander-in-chief – who has been firing off racist shots at Indians, Coloureds and whites lately – and COPE leader Mosiuoa ‘Terror’ Lekota were both present at Limpopo’s first public hearing into the amendment of section 25 of the Constitution in Marble Hall on Wednesday, June 27.
So far, so good.
However, reports News24, it got heated very quickly when Lekota, who was seated next to Malema, got up and moved to another seat:
Initially Julius Malema and Mosioua Lekota sat next to each other during land hearings held on Wednesday in Limpopo. It soon became apparent the two were engaged in a heated debate, which led to Lekota moving away from Malema find another seat. pic.twitter.com/2wIrWyMqvL

Cue maturity being thrown out the window:

Well, that’s just a great display of leadership right there. Great job, you guys.
After the hearing ended, Malema explained what went down:
EFF leader and MP @Julius_S_Malema explained what the scuffle between him and Lekota was about. He says the Cope leader claimed the process was staged. #LandExpropriation #MarbleHall pic.twitter.com/5CEQyw8RVY

Ooh, Juju really went in on his rival.
But Lekota clapped back, telling his side of the story ’round about the 0:32 mark:
The COPE leader didn’t hold back on the burns, either.
