Are you already fed up with the Monday blues?

If you are, then this latest edition of ‘Carpool Karaoke’, featuring Sir Paul McCartney, will get you grinning like crazy – or a bit misty-eyed – in no time.

Fresh off his rap battle win against Ashton Kutcher, The Late Late Show‘s James Corden and The Beatles legend took a ride around the McCartney’s hometown of Liverpool.

What do you get? A fun segment full of epic harmonising, surprise performances, and a great insight into the life and times of McCartney, explains Slate:

McCartney visiting his childhood home and banging out “When I’m Sixty-Four” on an upright piano is really special, as is the mental image of a young Paul McCartney practicing his songs while sitting on a closed toilet to take advantage of the bathroom’s acoustics.

Yup, that mental image is very special – I’ll probably have that in my mind for a while.

What’s even more special is when Corden has himself an emotional moment during a rendition of “Let It Be” at the 6:45 mark:
