There will be plenty of English football fans waking up with a whopping hangover today, especially those who celebrated like maniacs.
Given how she conducted herself on the court on Sunday, I would imagine British tennis star Johanna Konta might also be feeling a little sheepish.
It’s not quite up there with Karolina Pliskova and her chair-smashing antics, or American Jared Donaldson back in April, but it’s clear that Konta lost her rag with the chair umpire during the final of the Nature Valley Open in Nottingham.
She ended up losing the match, and refused to shake the umpire’s hand, but let’s see that shouting first:
If you’re wondering why she sounds Australian, she was born and raised Down Under, but now represents Great Britain.
No news on whether or not she still carries sandpaper around in her pockets.
