Winter has officially arrived in Cape Town, and the hot water bottles and electric blankets have been hauled out the back of the cupboard.
It’s been creeping up on us for a while, cementing its stay with howling winds, a chill in the air and long-awaited rainy weather.
Makes you shiver just thinking about, doesn’t it?
Luckily, we’ve found lekker ways for you to beat the winter blues. And good news – it involves delicious food and delightful drinks.
The good folks at Café Caprice have something called the Rosé All Day Winter Series where – every Saturday from 11AM to 7PM – you can drop by the cafe and enjoy some dope specials:
That spritzer mixer has to be Fitch & Leedes, because you know the difference between good and exceptional and you’re after the latter.
To amp up the vibe, the resident DJ will get the joint rocking with some sweet tunes from 2PM onwards.
The best part? It’s running all the way to September 1, so you can get in on the action for three whole months.
If you’re feeling a craving for a Camps Bay visit today, because the sun is fighting the good fight and making an appearance, you should also check out Caprice’s ‘two-for-one Tuesdays‘ special:
Every Tuesday from June 12 to June 26 at 12PM onwards, you can grab any two of the best burger buns in the land and only pay for one.
I’m imagining a luscious Dreamy Burger oozing with creamy mushroom sauce on one side of your plate, and a mouthwatering Royal Burger with melting cheddar underneath stacks of hot onion rings and crispy bacon on the other.
