Wow, can you even call this an interview?

Although it wasn’t as messy as this interviewer’s painful experience, it’s still enough to call it chaotic.

But in a good way … sort of.

Let me explain: actresses Sarah Paulson and Cate Blanchett [both pictured above] stopped by the Today show on Tuesday to promote their new film, Ocean’s 8.

Well, it was more like “tried to promote”.

Per a report by TIME, the pair deviated from the topic the moment co-host Hoda Kotb introduced them, and what ensued was some hilariously cringe-worthy exchanges.

Nothing like some good old-fashioned ribbing from two professional actresses.

Not even Kotb’s partner in crime, Savannah Guthrie, could help calm everyone down, as her appearance merely prompted Blanchett to sit on Paulson’s lap.

Very weird, but at least getting back to the subject of Ocean’s 8 produced this shady little gem:

The actresses were asked why people should see the movie.

“We’re both in it,” said Paulson, causing Blanchett to respond, “Oh, they kept you in?”
