Well, it looks like Jennifer Lawrence is officially over ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky.
It’s been nine months since she split from the filmmaker, and it seems like she’s got another main squeeze in her life.
The Red Sparrow actress looked pretty happy as she stepped out with her rumoured new beau, a buff artist named Cooke Maroney, in New York on Tuesday evening.
In a report by The Daily Mail, 27-year-old Lawrence and the art director of the high-end Gladstone Gallery, met through Lawrence’s friend Laura Simpson:
The relationship has been going on a few weeks, But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together.
Until now, obviously.
Observe some pics of a sappy, careless couple in love:
Not too shabby-looking, this Maroney chap.
More details on the new flame:
Maroney is 33, insiders told the outlet, and a regular at swanky art exhibitions in the Big Apple. He formerly worked for the Gagosian gallery.
In his post at the art gallery, Maroney worked alongside noted artists including Carroll Dunham (who is Lena Dunham‘s father), Anish Kapoor and Matthew Barney, the ex of Bjork.
Excellent credentials right there. Take that, Aronofsky.
Let’s hope Maroney is the one for self-proclaimed germaphobe Lawrence, who has been in a couple of high-profile relationships in the past that came to nothing.
May the odds forever be in Lawrence’s favour.
