We all know how mean the streets of South Africa can be.

The Boksburg cash-in-transit that ended in a shootout comes to mind, for example.

Or think about the drunk Jozi guy who rammed his vehicle into a row of cars at a dealership – it’s a damn lucky thing that nobody got hurt.

But out on the bigger and busier roads throughout the country, it’s even more hectic.

Take these dumbass schoolkids for starters: they’re getting their kicks by dicing with death along the N1 in De Doorns‚ Western Cape. They’re shown on video running towards trucks before diving out the way before they become pancakes, reports Times LIVE:

Dumbness is as dumbness does.

This young boy wasn’t so lucky – he was hit by a speeding Mercedes Benz AMG during an illegal drag race in Johannesburg at the weekend:

Fortunately for him, he’s recovering after the near-lethal bump, his father told Times LIVE, although the boy reckons that the stupid Mercedes driver “can’t drive”.

Harsh, but true.

For our third video, we go again to the streets of Durban. Times LIVE reports that an off-duty metro police officer intervened in an argument between two mini-bus taxi passengers‚ which ended in the cop allegedly shooting one of them.
