I’m not one for these kinds of shows, but they just keep on churning them out so I guess somebody’s watching.
Last week we saw a rather harrowing performance by Matt Johnson in the semi-final, who looked like he might actually die on stage at one point, although it wasn’t enough to see him through to the final.
That was a showdown between Donchez Dacres, Lost Voice Guy and Robert White, and there could only be one winner.
Lee Ridley, the comedian who goes by ‘Lost Voice Guy’, came out on top, living up to the bookies’ billing as the favourite.
I haven’t seen any of his performances en route to the final, so here’s your look at the routine that sealed top spot:
If you’re into feelgood vibes on a Monday – we could all use a hug – then check out the moment Lost Voice Guy was crowned the champ:
LOST VOICE GUY HAS WON IT!!

Perhaps we should start from the beginning, all the way back in April, and his initial performance that wowed judges and fans:
Lee will now receive £50 000 (R845 000), a slot in the Royal Variety Performance, and a special “surprise” as promised by Simon.
As of yet, no one is sure what that surprise is, and I don’t really care to be honest.
Well played to Lee, though.
