My word, May hasn’t been a good month for Porsche.
First a Porsche driver was nearly hijacked by robbers at a Jozi mall, and then another crashed into a dealership over a petty matter.
But this incident is really just taking the piss.
A hotel valet somehow managed to drive a black soft-top Porsche Carrera under a SUV on Thursday outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sydney, Australia, according to a report by TIME.
Yes, under the car, not over it. And by accident, nogal.
I’m as stunned as you are, friends. So were onlookers, who thought it was a television show or movie being filmed.
Per the report:
The larger vehicle was propped up and its wheels were anchored while the vehicles were separated. The black Porsche, its hood and front bumper crunched and dented, was then backed onto a tow truck.
Take a look at the video as they managed to rescue the Porsche:
Unbelievable.
Oh, and the hapless hotel valet? Emergency workers managed to cut the guy out from the Porsche. He’s said to be “embarrassed and a little bit shocked”.
Not to mention extremely bloody lucky to be alive.
Talk about having a bad day at work.
