Not even two days after a shooting in Bellville left two men dead, yet another shameless shooting took place.
In an incident that took place in around 10 seconds, a 49-year-old woman was shot inside her black Jeep while she was filling up at a Caltex garage in Delft, Cape Town, on Friday evening.
Talk about brazen as hell, and while she was pumping gas, too.
Before you watch the footage, here’s all the details per a report by News24:
A man, wearing a green hoodie and grey and white top, walks up to the vehicle with his hand in his pocket.
The driver appears to recognise the danger and tries to pull away as the man pulls out a firearm and starts shooting in through the passenger window. At least two shots are fired before the gun seems to jam and the attacker runs off, nearly tripping over the hose in the process.
As he flees an accomplice, wearing a dark hoodie and red pants, is seen taking the gun and re-cocking it. He then fires more rounds into the back of the vehicle as it drives off.
Jirre, I wouldn’t want to go to a petrol station after this happened.
Here’s the shocking footage:
That guy tripping, though. Not very professional.
Miraculously, the woman survived, and was rushed to a medical facility for treatment.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, confirmed the shooting, and said police had opened an attempted murder case. However, she didn’t say whether the attack had been gang-related.
Nor did she say if the woman had anything to do with alleged Sexy Boys gang leader Jerome “Donkie” Booysen, who had been wounded in two separate shootings and targeted in others over several months:
Circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. SAPS detectives are combing for clues to bring perpetrators to book.
Very helpful.
Let’s hope they catch the guys. Maybe the guy in the green hoodie will trip up again.
